Ogre giant project
Remember that shop i got my bruiser and hunter from ? .. well... by mistake, GW had sent them a LOTR kit in spanish...so the guy couldnt really sell it .. i offered to take it off his hands ( the entire starter kit ) for a bout 5 $ ... and he accepted. Good for him.. lots of bits and pieces for me... among other things.. a Cave-troll...
Now .. i´m dyring to get a few more units to my army so i figure i can make a gorger from the troll.... heres the FIRST picture .. so far...
Dinnertime !!
Meet the butcher, the tribes chef, and one-way link to the great maw.
This character is nearly done, but just a TAD away still... thinking of adding a gnoblar, and a pot one way or the other...
Im not particularly quick when it comes to these special setups, so this one i have spent a good week on, during my spare time... im guessing a good 20 hours or so....
I used an ordinary ogre bull for basics, cannibalized a human head from a gnoblars backpack, and used greenstuff to make a human apron.
The apron might not be too visible, but the little bulb under the buthers mouth is a human head, and the apron is suposed to be the skin of the heads owner :P
Then i butchered half a Cold-one ( dark elves steed) broke it in 2 and imagined the butcher had snapped its spine, pried open its guts and had his filing dedicated to the magic of the great maw ...
for future, i might as i mentioned, add a gnoblar and a little steeww-pot ... not sure where to place it on the base ...
And yes .. the 2 lines on the edge of the base is just rof combat reference...the base became a tad bigger than the 58 mm the ogres usually have....

Da bulls of frost tribe
" Hurr hurr... little man with little poker... dat tickle .. thee hee!!"
I try to make any ogre a little special. Be it the base , or as in this ones case, adding a victim to its action.
Again a piece from LOTS got the sharp end of the stick, thou i was quite satisfied with the result.. Mind , these are my tabletop figures... theyre all made in relatively short time ( 2-3 hours each ) with the lump part of the added time being used on to give them that "little extra" ...
When im done with my first army, i shall have approx 10-15 core units, 1 bruizer, 1 hunter /pack , 1 butcher, 1 slaughtermaster, and some leadbelchers ...
For this bull i went for the spear as choice of weapon. Originally the spear points down so one can add on the standard, giving the Bull the option as standard bearer, increasing morale in the platoon.
Me ... i went for the Vlad Dracul option..
" IMPALE THE INFIDELS !!"
Again , quite happy with the outcome, but sad i didnt find the last of the 3 i made for the shop.. think he is forever lost in the void ... may the great maw be pleased with his sacrifice....

Meet da Ironguts.
" Hack, slash, den chomp dem down,... dat be us fellas!"
I figured when i started my ogres, that i coulndt make jsut ordinary singlecolour file and ranks ( not that ogres have file and ranks) ..
Also, i wanted my ogres to really stand out on any battlefield, so i opted to go for " frost tribe" theme. Bluish skin colours, and hearts of ice - completely relentlessly savage and heartless...
A little customization here, as i cut of the hand from the wrist to twist it a bit.. not realy sure why i did it, but it turned out pretty cool...
Oh ... do feel free to give feedback.. i DO enjoy it...

Achchor da huntah
" Steady there kitties ... now go FEAST"
Achchor was my very first commission, i painted him and his pack for the local hobby/games shop. The owner had not cared to do much with the characters at all, except glue the models together and place them in the display mount. I got irritated and offered to paint the pack, something the shop owner was happy to let me do. It turned out significantly better than he hoped, and was displayed in the shop for over a year.
Then the shop changed locateíon and Achchor and his pack was left dusting in a cardbox. I offered to buy him ad my other models out for a mere penny, and luckily got the deal... The base of the frost lion was gone, and i havent bothered to make a new one, ... is IS on my to-do list thou....
Meet Ogrish !!
Today i started this blog ... just wated to have a place to put out my Ogrea army and show them to the world... they are after all my ... pets :D
Ill start with showing my prize posessions, my hero units :)
Here is my Bruizer ... Rough, brutal and deadly in all his appearance... face him and you face the next world ...
I wanted him to be just a tad special, as i at that point ( when i made him ) had no skills whatsoever with greenstuff...
He is impaling an unlucky opponent ( taken from LOTR miniatures) which really give a nice effect to his size.
" Yarr... me thinks that will hurt .. You wil do fine... for dinner!"
